COCKTAILS AND DETAILS - FRAUD
We hired this vendor to plan our wedding after reading great reviews about their service on Weddingwire. They totally botched our wedding, include showing late for the start of the event.
Once the wedding was over and we posted our review on Weddingwire, 5 positive reviews were posted for the vendor within minutes of our post.
This lead me to believe that the people at cocktails and details in St Simons Island, Ga are writing their own reviews and misleading potential clients. Stay clear of this company whose lead wedding planner presents herself as a top planner, but can't show up in time for your wedding.
BAD COMPANY!

Wedding Wire Scam artists - Sending client false leads
Background: I was a loyal customer for 5 years @ $3000 year.
I am a very successful photographer with over 90 reviews on wedding wire. I have at least 20 emails from weddingwire potential brides but NO one leaves a phone number and No one replies to my email responses.
WHY?
I found out today that when a bride request information from a vendor, weddingwire sends a request to SIX additional vendors besides the one they are requesting information from. NO WONDER I HAVE SO MANY INQUIRES. AND NO WONDER NO ONE REPLIES TO MY EMAILS. Brides feel like they are being spammed.
I FEEL LIKE I AM BEING SCAMMED. You are not getting any more of my money Wedding Wire.

Wedding Planner
I hired Susan Moran of That's It! Wedding Concepts, as a wedding designer for my daughter's wedding this past September 2015.
I found Susan to be very detailed oriented and extremely organized. Her taste in design was exquisite. Susan was very easy to work with and a great listener when wedding details proved to be overwhelming at times.
Being that my daughter's wedding was outside at Moonstone Manor, there was an overwhelming number of details to consider. Susan kept notes on everything and at the appropriate time, she reminded me of what had to be accomplished and at what times. I consider her and her work extremely professional. I would hire her again for any formal, semi-formal or casual affair.
She made my daughter's wedding a beautiful event. Thanks Susan!!

Not Worth the money
Wedding wire is bogus
This is not an honest company. They are vindictive, non responsive, overpriced and it won't get you more jobs.
The online gallery is impossible to edit. The reps promise you the world and don't deliver. Don't bother with these folks, its a joke. When I cancelled my account, they pasted a bad review on my free account that can't be removed or refuted that isn't even the service being advertised.
They are so interested in being authentic they don't listen to their advertisers about what the real story is.
There is favoritism with wedding wire on top of that, some vendors on the other hand get many bad reviews but know reps and have all their bad reviews expunged. Don't trust this company.

Weddingwire Website Review
Resolved: Won't terminate my contract
After further correspondence with Wedding Wire, they deleted my paid plan and refunded the money for the month I was protesting. I am satisfied and this issue has been resolved.
I've had much better success getting referrals and bookings from a local website. Wedding Wire seems only interested in packing in as many vendors as possible, thus collecting all the advertising fees.
I told them I do not want to be associated with them any more, but they will not terminate my contract. So now I'm stuck paying their high monthly fees for 6 months.
Preferred solution: Terminate my contract effective immediately.
Weddingwire - Leads Review from Bensalem, Pennsylvania
I posted a small free profile for my wife and I, who are ceremony musicians. Shortly after, I was contacted by a rep from wedding wire who tried to talk me into signing up for premium package that would cost over $100 a month.
I politely declined and said that I just wanted to check out the site first before I made any decisions. She then emailed me frequently and called on occasion to ask me the same questions. I eventually got frustrated and told her that I do not want to be contacted by her anymore because I was not interested. It was very pricey and there was no guarantee that I was going to get business from this.
She gave me a slightly snide and belittling response saying "I guess you're not interested in growing your business."
At that point I thought I was finished with her, but believe it or not she kept calling and emailing every so often. The crazy part: every once in a while we get contacted by a "prospective client" who wants more information about our business.
Not once have I received a return reply from the people we contact, which leads me to wonder if we're receiving fake correspondences generated by the sales member - who ever so conveniently sends me a little note every time somebody contacts me through the site. I've read enough bad reviews about the ethics of this company to know that there are better options out there for vendors.
