WeddingWire - Leads Review from Bensalem, Pennsylvania
I posted a small free profile for my wife and I, who are ceremony musicians. Shortly after, I was contacted by a rep from wedding wire who tried to talk me into signing up for premium package that would cost over $100 a month.
I politely declined and said that I just wanted to check out the site first before I made any decisions. She then emailed me frequently and called on occasion to ask me the same questions. I eventually got frustrated and told her that I do not want to be contacted by her anymore because I was not interested. It was very pricey and there was no guarantee that I was going to get business from this.
She gave me a slightly snide and belittling response saying "I guess you're not interested in growing your business."
At that point I thought I was finished with her, but believe it or not she kept calling and emailing every so often. The crazy part: every once in a while we get contacted by a "prospective client" who wants more information about our business.
Not once have I received a return reply from the people we contact, which leads me to wonder if we're receiving fake correspondences generated by the sales member - who ever so conveniently sends me a little note every time somebody contacts me through the site. I've read enough bad reviews about the ethics of this company to know that there are better options out there for vendors.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Location: Bensalem, Pennsylvania

Oh my! I'm in the same boat!
I signed up for the free account about a week ago {solo violinist, here} and I can't seem to shake the durn representative. I almost caved into purchasing the $50/month account, but I'm so glad I saw this forum! :) Saved me a lot of grief. Now I get to look forward to shaking the rep.
